Anna Volpi, Photographer in Verona

Anna says:

"I tend to fall asleep on my left side. I like purple skies after rainstorms. I like to climb trees. I'm attracted to anything I do not know, abandoned buildings, subcultures, rooftops and underground dwellings. I believe in beauty, growth, learning, discovery. I like to work with other creatives. I like people, ideas, collaborations, playtime.

Half American, half Italian, and citizen of the world, I indulge in cultures, food, art, and adventure."

Anna was the 2012 winner of Trip Magazine's photo contest. She speaks English, Italian and Spanish.

Where are some of your favourite places to shoot in Verona?

The view from the Torricelle is wonderful, you can see the whole city and all of the Pianura Padana on a clear day. The area around Ponte Pietra with its hidden cloisters and unique shops. The Castelvecchio bridge, especially with night lighting.
