Where are some of your favourite places to shoot in Amsterdam?
The Amsterdam canals are obviously a big draw, and the architecture is quintessential to the city. With canal bridges, beautiful buildings and cobbled side streets, there's no end of backdrops for great images.
For something more natural I would suggest any of the city's many central parks, with leafy tree-lined boulevards, lots of room to get action shots of bike riding (a must-do in Amsterdam!) and grassy banks/benches for more posed images.
The Oosterdok is great if you'd like something more modern with a huge range of brand new unique buildings, which are quite a contrast to the typical Dutch style, not to mention a great view over the water on both sides of the dock.
Three words to describe your style of photography:
Precise, natural, clean.
