Valeria d'Ovidio, Photographer in Rome

My name is Valeria D'Ovidio and I'm an english mother tongue professional photographer living in Rome, Italy.

My passion for photography began at a very young stage. Capturing everlasting moments was something that had always had a very strong influence in my life and knowing that that could be done through a lens has always had an impact on the way I see the world.

I'm a freelance photographer available worldwide. I believe that great creativity often is the result of team effort and values that can be obtained only working closely with clients.

My passion for photography lies in portraits and landscapes, but for me these are not subjects, but moments that I like to capture for the way they make me feel. I feel like a hunter gatherer of natural light and candid moments. Photography for me has to be honest, that is why I'm more attracted to natural lightning than artificial. My projects often see surreal landscapes and eternal beauties that I believe express my feelings towards the locations I visit and the wonders of nature that I encounter along the way.

Where are some of your favourite places to shoot in Rome?

My best spots in this beautiful city are definitely the stunning views of the Giardino degli Aranci, Pincio, Terrazza del Capidoglio and the Gianicolo ; the early market of Campo De Fiori, the sunset at the Isola Tiberina, Villa Borghese or just walking through the beautiful streets of Trastevere and Quartiere Ebraico.

There are so many things to do and see in this historical city.
