Ewa Wijata, Photographer in Edinburgh

Ewa is a professional photographer, mum and wife. She currently lives in Edinburgh where she has been over 10 years.

Photography is Ewa's passion and she seeks to learn something new every day and develop her own style. She loves vintage styled shoots, relaxed atmospheres, meeting new people and exploring new places. Her current projects include exploring reportage and lifestyle shoots and also developing her knowledge of newborn photography.

Ewa speaks English and Polish.

Where are some of your favourite places to shoot in Edinburgh?

Arthur's Seat is a beautiful hill situated in the centre of the city of Edinburgh, about a mile to the east of Edinburgh Castle. There are amazing views, it's easy to climb and there is the possibility of a variety of shoots in one place. There is also a pond with a small ruins in a background.

Calton Hill is another favourite. It's a beautiful hill in the city center, just a minute from the main street. It has amazing views of the old town, beautiful ruins on the top and only few steps to reach it. The hill are often used in photographs and paintings of the city.

Royal Mile is another beautiful spot to shoot ,in the heart of the old town, with a hidden gardens, passages and stunning views.
