Born and raised in Lebanon, Clara slowly became passionate about photography while taking portraits of her family and entourage. Owning mostly analog cameras at the time and shooting with wide angle, she developed a sense of narrative and slowly developed an interest in the cinematic quality of the pictures she was creating.
Clara says she has always had a fascination at observing people, while taking portraits, weddings or other events, wanting to let them look their best and feel good about themselves.
Clara says "I see the beauty everywhere and this is exactly what I try to capture wherever I go."
Clara won awards at the Sony World Awards in May 2014, in Beirut this year with Festival PhotoMed, and in Nice with Les Jeux de la Francophonie 2013.
She speaks French, English and Arabic.
