Iris Haidau, Photographer in Brussels

Iris says:

"Hi there! I’m Iris Haidau a professional photographer raised and educated in the heart of Transylvania.
As a fresh graduate master student in fine art of photography and Digital Image Processing, I recently established myself in Belgium after doing an internship here.

During my university studies I started by working as an events photographer, and it's already been 8 years since I first fell in love with shooting the true feelings of real moments and admiring the adventure of each wedding I photograph.

I love working with natural light, adapting my style to the beliefs and personality of each client, keeping in mind that an image can show us confidence, vulnerability, family connection, gratitude, fun, and my favorite, love. A photograph can tell your story!

After all these years I know how important it is to make the clients feel instantly comfortable in front of the camera and bring out the best in every person. I have heard these words as many times as I have caused them to be forgotten: “I am not photogenic “! I love to shine a light on the personality of everyone that I photograph during the photo shoots and surprise with the intensity of every valuable moment. As a photographer I have a background in different fields, doing corporate photography and retouching. I’m also specialised in fashion photography, shooting for editorials, producers and stylists.

Iris speaks English, Spanish, French and Romanian.

Where are some of your favourite places to shoot in Brussels?

Gallery St Hubert, all the parks and gardens, the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken, and the Mont des Arts.
