Europe’s Best Destination Photographers
Come and meet some of our talented photographers across Europe.
Evi Christopoulou is a photographer born, living and working in Athens, Greece. She started attending private drawing lessons at the early age of seven and engaged in a long lasting romance primarily with oil painting.
She earned an honor’s bachelor degree in psychology and a MSc degree in human resource management but ultimately she found the muse of her creativity in photography. Combining her knowledge of human psychology with visual aesthetics, Evi seeks to create bold, unique and breathtaking images, be that commercial, fashion, conceptual, fine art or wedding, which produce intense feelings and make the viewer feel as if they are stepping into a dream. As she believes, photography can have the effect of reflecting the psyche of both the photographer as well as the person being photographed by utilizing evocative and fragmentary elements and thus mirroring the uniqueness of human identity at each precise moment in time.
Understanding the interplay between the photographer, the camera and the subject, she does not just photograph subjects, rather, she is determined to create her own interpretation of light, color, texture, depth, complexity, composition, angle and perspective which gives life to every image and which shapes a narrative of her own subtle interpretation of reality. Her eclectic artistic influences are drawn from all forms of art, pop culture, history, ethnic diversities and everyday life.
