Alessandro, our talented photographer in Rome says:
"Hi, I am Alessandro. I do social and documentary photography and family portraits and weddings are my core. Why? simply because love is the most important thing of our lives and for whichever event, wedding, engagement, honeymoon, or just a family trip, photography is there!... to remember yourselves you are born to LOVE! and I will be there too.. to catch all your moments and emotions and give it back to you through my camera and my vision.
My photography is fresh, modern, unconventional, happy and romantic. I like people to reveal their beautiful soul in the pictures through their eyes, real smiles and gestures. I love to have people, bride and groom or just lovers, just walking through the city spots and while I take spontaneous shots of the two of them together. Also sometimes I give them some smart advices on how to pose in order to look natural and to get better pictures if I see this is the case."
Alessandro has won many awards for his outstanding work, including the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) Gold Medallion, Fearless Photographers Awards, Wedding Photography Select (WPS) Excellence Awards, Artistic Guild WPJA, and awards from the ANFM (Italian Association of Wedding Photographers).
He speaks English, Italian, Spanish and French.
Where are some of your favourite places to shoot in Rome?
Rome is an incredibly fascinating city to shoot in. My favourite shots are Gianicolo, Roman Forum and Tiberina Isle (Jewish Ghetto). Gianicolo is a wonderful hill from where you can see the best Rome skyline, the Roman Forum is the core of the ancient Rome and Tiberina Isle is a particular nice spot with very ancient bridge over the river with the traditional jewish ghetto beside. Covering this 3 shots you get a real and not too touristy flavour of Rome in your pictures.
