Europe’s Best Destination Photographers
Come and meet some of our talented photographers across Europe.
"Had a camera in my hand when I was a young boy and have not left it down since then. I like traveling in Europe and all over Ireland. I started my photography life using film and although digital is now the norm I still love the look of film. I have worked in photography since leaving school and still love covering assignments from little children to large corporate events. My early photography life involved photographing people and later I moved into the commercial field where I find the skills of dealing with people can give me a competitive edge. After 30 years in the business I still love the job."
Phillip is a former winner of the National Fuji Professional portrait awards. He speaks English, and has a little knowledge of Italian, French and Spanish. He is a good communicator and can work with most people.
Where are some of your favourite places to shoot in Dublin?
I love Trinity College as I have a passion for beautiful buildings and the grounds are full of excellent backdrops.
I also love the canals surrounding the city in Dublin as they are little havens of peace, they are a big part of the city's heritage and water always looks great in the final images.
The modern side of Dublin along the quays of the river Liffey is now an area full of life and has some fantastic architecture and walkways.
The old traditional pubs around the centre of Dublin make for great photo opportunities both inside and outside.
And of course the scenery close by Dublin, the mountains and the beaches are all close to the city.
Three words to best describe your style of photography?
Relaxed, Creative, Atmospheric.
